Yes. Free is the full local runtime under Apache-2.0: code-navigation MCP tools, the context engine for normal-size repos, single-repo memory, host packaging, and benchmarks. It is not a crippled trial.
Does Pro require cloud connectivity?
No. Atelier is local-first and activation is offline — no license server and no phone-home. Pro unlocks large-repo indexing, cross-session recall, the savings engine, and model routing, all running on your machine.
What does the savings engine actually do?
It tracks tokens, tool calls, context carry, and cost per run, then lets you apply policies to cut waste — and shows a full breakdown of what each session cost and saved.
Which agents and hosts work with Atelier?
Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, Cursor, opencode, Hermes Agent, LangChain, the OpenAI SDK, Gemini ADK, and any MCP-compatible host.
How is Enterprise licensed?
Enterprise adds uncapped indexing, shared team context, governance with audit export and retention, SSO, and priority support. You can self-host the license issuer. Contact us to scope it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel any subscription anytime. Because activation is offline, the runtime keeps working locally for the period you have paid for.
